“Improving performance is NOT the objective of performance management”
Thats just one of the many gems you will find in this weeks episode of the Moronic Manager – Give this a ‘like’ if you have known a manger just like this!
This is a comedic adaptation of an actual conversation that one of my ex-clients had with her boss… It is probable that you know of someone who manages people just like this and I believe there are lessons to be learned from these people.
This video pokes a little bit of fun at poor management, but also hopefully can provide YOU with the knowledge and motivation to ensure you never become this type of leader.
Could you achieve more if you could be at your best everyday?
Here are some simple ideas on how to achieve that…
You must care for your your clients…
You must care for your customers…
You must take on more workload…
You must deliver better results…
The demands are high, but many companies are setting up to fail…
Today I’m talking about time management… one of the most loathed subjects ever, because our lives are so jam-packed, it feels ridiculous that we could manage it any better than we already do!
But there is a way to get more time for you…
Pretty sure you already think you know it…. What is the deciding factor in your overall success?
Here are my thoughts…
Resilience seems to be one of the buzz-words of the 21st century leadership. It seems that everyone is asking our people to have a thick skin and to not take it personally when plans change or work is criticised. If someone gets upset, they are told “You need to be more resilient”.
But what does that word even mean?
Might be a tough video to watch because there are a few home truths in here, but could also unlock your potential.
The self help industry will loudly and proudly say that everyone can have it all… the money… the status… the life… It is all ours (If we apply the appropriate strategies of course).
So is that true?
Want to achieve something significant… You are going to need motivation.
Better pick the right type…
